Sandeep was previously Vice President of S&P Global where he was responsible for research and consulting related to crude oil markets, refining and commodity insights. Prior to that, Sandeep had combined research and consulting experience with predecessor entities Purvin & Gertz and IHS Market as VP Downstream Crude Oil Markets and Refining.  Earlier in his career, Sandeep held positions with Chevron in Supply Chain Optimization, UOP Honeywell as Program Manager Supply Chain Consulting, Arthur D. Little Charles River Consulting as a Management Consultant and with Koch Industries and Pennzoil as a Process and Planning Engineer.

Sandeep holds an MBA from Cornell University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a B.S. in Chemical engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India.
