As President, Sam oversees the day-to-day activities of the firm, leads the strategic initiatives and business development efforts, and drives future growth opportunities for Turner Mason. Since joining the firm in 2018, Sam has played a pivotal role in enhancing the firm’s positioning as a trusted advisor in the energy space among the firm’s legacy and new clients domestically and internationally. He has 25 years’ experience across oil markets, refining and petrochemicals with a diverse background of technical, operating and commercial responsibilities at Sunoco. Sam also previously worked at Wood Mackenzie where he helped setup the downstream practice in the Americas and then went on to lead the practice as Head of Americas Refining & Oil Markets. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
